Rechargeable Battery Pack, USB Connector Cable & Wall Charger Information

The Nervana PEMF therapy device comes with a single one-foot USB-A to USB-C connector cable. For purposes of using the Nervana PEMF therapy medical device, the connector cable is used in two ways: to charge the battery pack, and, to connect the battery pack to the device so that the device can operate. When the battery requires charging, the cable's USB-C end plugs into the battery and the USB-A end plugs into the wall charger. When the battery is fully charged and the user is ready to use the device, the connector cable is flipped around so that the connector cable’s USB-A end plugs into the battery’s USB-A port and the cable’s USB-C end plugs into the USB-C port located on the “NOVA Power Button” affixed to the device. Note: the rechargeable battery pack has four female outlets/ports including two USB-A, one USB-C and one micro-USB port.
For purposes of using the battery pack and device together, each of the five Nervana PEMF therapy devices has a pocket with a Velcro strap for securing the battery in place.
Charging the Battery Pack

1. The rechargeable battery pack can be charged by using the USB connector cable and connecting the battery pack to the AC power adapter (wall charger). It is recommended to use AC power adapters with output voltage SY and output current not less than 1A.

2. There are four blue indicator lights on the rechargeable battery pack. When charging, the indicator lights flash. When a charge is complete, the battery pack’s four indicator lights stay on and do not flash. As the battery’s charge depletes, fewer indicator lights will appear each time the battery is activated.
Using the Rechargeable Battery Pack to Turn on the Device

1. Using the USB connector cable, connect the battery pack to the NOVA power button affixed to the device. Next, place the battery in the battery pocket on the device and secure it with the Velcro strap.

2. Before turning the medical device on using the NOVA power button, the rechargeable battery pack must first be activated by gently pushing the button on the side of the battery pack. When pushed, the indicator lights will appear briefly, indicating that the battery pack is activated.
